Independence Day set not first for controversial comedy connoisseur
Fairview (PFM): The annual neighborhood Fourth of July celebration was punctuated with the clever observational musings of Donny Ng, the self proclaimed neighborhood funny guy and loner who lives in the cozy two bedroom craftsman at the end of the block.
Although most of Ng’s half hour routine centered around newly discovered hot dog packaging peculiarities, Ng also managed to recap some of the more amusing observations from his Memorial Day act.
Ng attempted to resurrect some material from his less popular drunken New Year’s performance. But this attempt resulted in only a handful of chuckles from the Smiths, the Mormon family of eight that recently moved into the neighborhood from Utah.
Many observers later expressed a belief that the Smiths may have been a little too anxious to fit in, as they couldn’t possibly have known about the unimaginable variety of whole-grain buns available at the Old Towne hippie co-op. . . . Read on »
